Abbi Aderholt is a English Language Arts and Reading teacher at different grade levels for four years at Fort Elliott CISD. Ms. Aderholt currently teaches 7th thru 10th graders at Fort Elliott CISD. Prior to coming to Fort Elliott CISD, she was a 6th grade English Language Arts at Pampa ISD. She has an innovative, inspiring and insightful approach towards her students. Ms. Aderholt crafts engaging lessons plans, coming up with the best ideas to help keep students interested in reading. One hundred percent of her students passed the state standardized English and /or writing test (STAAR) in the 2018-2019 school year. Ms. Aderholt embraces the idea of building strong relationships with her students. Her mission is for her students to feel welcome, wanted and loved. In turn, they feel more comfortable taking risks in their learning. This is what makes her a more effective teacher. She makes sure to end every class by saying, “Love Ya, Bye!.
Ms. Aderholt received a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.A.S. ) with Specialization in Elementary Education from West Texas A&M University and an Associate Degree (A.A.S.) in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Amarillo College. She is certified in English Language Arts and Reading (4-8), Generalist (EC-6) (4-8) and has a certificate in ESL Supplemental.
