Shickshinny, PA WW/Press/November 1, 2019 – Denise Williams, Teacher with Northwest Area School District was selected for inclusion into the Top Educators of America 2019-2020 by The Who’s Who Directories.

Denise Williams is an Elementary Education Teacher with the Northwest Area School District.  She began her career as an Elementary Librarian in the same school district and has been teaching over 35 years.  Ms. Williams’ motto is that she loves what she does and cares for her students.

Ms. Williams earned a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in music from West Chester State College in 1978.  She earned a Certificate of Public Librarianship in 1980 from College Misericordia and her Master’s in Library Science from Kutztown State College in 1990.

Ms. Williams is a member of the Northwest Area Education Association (NAEA), the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA), National Education Association (NEA) and Delta Kappa Gamma, a professional society for women educators.

Ms. Williams has been married for 30 years and has one brother.
