St. Petersburg, FL/Press/January 28, 2020 – Courtney Gandy, Pre-K ESE Teacher with New Heights Elementary School was selected for inclusion into the Top Educators of America 2020 by The Who’s Who Directories.
Courtney Gandy has been teaching Pre-K for 17 years and has been teaching Blended Pre-K 3’s at New Heights Elementary School for the past 11 years. She has been in the field of education for 19 years. Ms. Gandy is passionate about teaching and loves all her kids. She is excited each day and her students can’t wait to attend her class. As one colleague is quoted as saying, “I’ve worked next door to Ms. Gandy for 5 years and I have never met a teacher who’s heart is so full of love for her students. Throughout the years I have watched her students come in to her classroom, many not at all ready for school and by the 3rd day of school she has her entire class walking in a line! Her students love her and are excited to come to school. Pre-K is the student’s first experience with school and Ms. Gandy makes sure to make it a fun and playful experience while the children are also learning. She is able to differentiate seamlessly and assist students when they require it. Importantly she also knows when to let the student keep trying until they get it on their own.”
Ms. Gandy received a B.S. in Child Development from Florida State University.
