Savannah Jernigan teaches K-6 at Jim Allen Elementary School. Her Goal is to make sure students feel safe and loved which in turn motivates learning. A staff member stated, “Mrs. Jernigan gives every ounce of who she is to better the lives of others. Not only does she keep her students engaged with hands on learning, but she is also a foster mom to 2 beautiful babies. She is a leader among our faculty and is constantly encouraging and pushing others to be a better self. She loves big and finds joy in the moment. She is a great reminder that we can all do great things when we put our mind to it.”
Mrs. Jernigan received a Masters degree in Public Administration and Leadership from the University of West Florida and Bachelors in Family and Child Services from Florida State University. She also has an Alternative Certification throughout the state of Florida.
