Chrissi Ryner has been a Special education teacher at United High School for the past 2 years and has been in the field of education for 23 years. Mrs. Ryner shows compassion towards her students and wants them to succeed. She is known as a great teacher who goes above and beyond for her students. She gets to know each and every one of her students, including those kids with a tough exterior. Mrs. Ryner is committed to learning who her students are and how they learn. Beyond just the students, she also builds strong relationships with parents.
Mrs. Ryner earned a B.A. in Learning Disabilities and Elementary Education from Monmouth College. She is currently working on receiving a Master’s Degree. Mrs. Ryner is a member of the Illinois Education Association, Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Delta Pi.
Chrissi is married to her husband, Jeff, and they are the parents of two children, Brooke and Blake.
